ABOUT RACHEL JENKINS

I am a Partner at Oliver Wyman in the firm\'s Aerospace, Defense and Government Services and Private Capital Practices, based in Washington DC. I advise leading government services companies and financial sponsors on strategy and transformation topics, including growth strategy, mergers and acquisition (M&A) due diligence, go-to-market support, and organizational and operational issues. Doing business with the government can be challenging, requiring different sales approaches, back-office systems, cost structures, and ways of working. I help companies navigate these challenges to drive mission and financial impact. Through this work, I have led industry-shaping M&A transactions, strategy resets, and operational improvement efforts. I joined Oliver Wyman when Avascent was acquired in 2022, following over a decade of consulting in government-driven sectors at Avascent. Within the firm, I serve as the DC office co-lead and am energized by building a rich office community and culture. I am particularly passionate about supporting and mentoring other women in our DC community and across the firm more broadly.
