I’ve provided collective agreement and policy interpretation. I’ve participated in Labor meetings for information sharing. I’ve networked and consulted with staff, candidates, educational institutions, and professional associations to strategize and proactively plan for future needs based on statistical organizational data, and advised on succession planning tactics and staffing initiatives. I’ve coordinated competitions including postings, screening, interviewing, references, liaising with hiring teams and candidates, and assisted in preparing interviews tools and testing. I’ve assisted in the research and rollout of Nova Scotia Health Authority’s Employment Equity policy which included linking with external agencies that support priority groups to increase minority representation of external hires. Additionally, I furthered my technical competencies with computer programs including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word, Access, and Project), Internet Explorer, HRIS (SAP and PeopleSoft e-Recruit).
