ABOUT RACHEL I.

I am an Associate Solicitor at Monan Gozzett LLP. I specialise in Private Defence work, including complex serious crime cases where clients are represented at both the Magistrates and Crown Court. Additionally I work with clients to assist in Reputational Management matters, Appeals against conviction, civil regulatory work, employment and education matters which has provided me with a solid foundation of the practice of Criminal, Civil, Employment and Education law. I have been able to achieve successful outcomes for clients who have had serious allegations made against them, both at the Police Station stage and where cases have been submitted to the CPS for charging decisions as well as assisting clients to delete their arrest records and draft and submit police complaints. I also act for clients in relation to education and regulatory matters including appeals concerning children with additional needs. I have obtained successful outcomes for clients at hearings and appeals against public bodies. Previously, I was a Scholarship student at the University of Law on their Legal Practice Course and Master of Laws postgraduate programme. I also hold a Bachelor of Laws LLB First Class Honours degree. My previous work history is varied and includes work as a Freelance legal content writer, and a successful multiple Business Owner. This has helped me develop extensive transferrable skills. I have highly developed interpersonal skills in team management and customer relations and have a hard work ethic and excellent time management skills. Additionally, I have worked as a professional singer/dancer and martial artist. Most recently on the skincare campaign for E45. I am passionate about my causes of working with intention to improve education and combat racism and anti-discriminatory practices both in employment and education as well as improving human rights. Most importantly, I strive to be the best lawyer I can be and thoroughly learn and apply my subject so as to serve my clients in the best way possible.
