About Rachel Greth
I’m leading the user research (and UX design, presently) at Thalamus: a physician-owned software startup whose mission is to ensure the right doctors end up at the right hospitals to treat the right patients. While I am new-ish to the Graduate Medical Education (medical residency and fellowship) space, I have quickly developed a passion for the medical education and physician communities. I’m here to learn. I’m here to lend my expertise. Personally, I found my way into user research through a series of career progressions that looked like this: graphic and web design > software bootcamp > web development > UX design > UX research. Why research? I’d love to tell you more; ask me. When I’m not working, you can find me tending my garden, sketching up something wild that will require me learning a new skill (e.g, welding), or working in my stained glass studio in my garage.
