I lead media relations, executive branding and crisis communications for our client CapMetro and create, strategize and manage video and social content for UT Austin’s Extended Campus.I produce a monthly segment for UT Austin called “What’s Next with Dr. Art Markman,” which airs on KEYE-TV Austin and KABB-TV San Antonio.My team and I created the crisis communications plan for CapMetro, which we regularly update and assist the transit agency to implement in a variety of crisis situations and scenarios.I strategize, create and manage executive branding and communications for the CapMetro CEO. This includes social media, traditional media, thought leadership and speaking engagements.I media and crisis train all CapMetro executives, managers and anyone who might interface with media or the public on the CapMetro team.I regularly consult and assist the internal communications team at CapMetro.
