About Rachel Williams
Growing up in the Lehigh Valley, independent journalism was always at the forefront of my life. Since elementary school, I have been inspired to uplift communities and give people a platform to have their voice be heard. Creative storytelling is at the core of who I am and I aspire to connect with all types of people to share their voices and ideas.Experiential learning has been crucial to my understanding of the ever-evolving media landscape. From reporting at the 2024 New Hampshire Primaries and Paris Olympics to studying abroad in Rome and assisting with the 2024 Presidential Debate, these hands-on experiences have sharpened my journalistic skills and passion for quality reporting.At Temple University I have had the chance to study journalism and theatre. I believe these two areas of study are not as different as they may seem. Both disciplines require empathy, storytelling, and a deep connection to humanity. I hope that during my career I can merge these worlds and use my skills to create impactful work.
