   Responsible for execution of key operations functions of the organization, including but not limited to internal and external communications; hiring, onboarding, and personnel matters; staff development; board meeting preparation and execution; foundation relations; oversight of finance and business operations; and special projects- Joined the organization just after it received its independent 501c3 status and was an integral part of creating new policies and procedures, including writing a new employee handbook, and determining staff benefits - Created a new, more equitable and transparent hiring process that includes coordination of diverse hiring committees and the creation of tools for evaluating candidates’ resumes, phone screens, work samples, and final round interviews - Sits on the Executive Leadership Team and staffs the Executive Director’s work with other senior leaders to facilitate communication and ensure continuity and collaboration across the organization - Supervises three junior operations team employees, leading weekly operations team meetings and holding regular one-to-one supervision
