SKILLS
ABOUT RACHEL COPELAND
Is it possible to be passionate about an IT software development project? Absolutely! I get so much satisfaction in working with a team of individuals to bring a quality product to market. Whether it is a system migration or the implementation of new or upgraded software knowing that I am working to help our customers manage their healthcare more efficiently and with less worry is important to me. I have a proven track record for planning and execution of large products using tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, Planview and PMI methodologies. More recently I have begun working with an Agile team and using the Scaled Agile Framework including becoming proficient with tools such as JIRA, Confluence and Agilecraft. The tools are very helpful, but it is my ability to assess, organize, and execute that make me successful. I am highly skilled at requirements gathering with a keen ability to ask the right questions to support a quality design and subsequent development. As community volunteer I use my organizational and team building skills as the Commissioner for the Chatsworth Chiefs Track and Field/Cross Country team. I have been a part of this 47 year non profit organization as an athlete, coach and now as its leader. It is important to me to help the youth of my community by providing a safe, competitive environment that encourages and develops discipline, fitness, good sportsmanship, responsible behavior, and a strong sense of personal pride and satisfaction.
