About Rachel Coker
Passionate about protecting the world\'s most precious resource - water. Currently exercising this passion as a Field Engineer (or Engineered Products Manager) for ADS, a storm water management solutions company. Very lucky to have a hand in protecting my hometown of Houston from its greatest threat. I received a Masters from the Environmental and Water Resources Engineering Program from the University of Texas at Austin in December 2020. While attending graduate school, I worked as a Water Resources Engineer in the Treatment Transmission and Utilities group at Freese and Nichols, Inc. In August of 2018, I graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering on the Environmental Engineering track. I was an undergraduate research assistant in the Aerosols and Water Treatment Lab at Texas A&M where I focused on water-reuse and purification (link attached below). In March of 2018, I presented my findings at the American Chemical Society National Convention in New Orleans (see poster below).
