My clinical background as a speech-language pathologist gave me the skills I need to be successful as an analytical and strategic thinker. As an SLP, I learned how to assess and evaluate a problem, design an intervention plan to target identified needs, and evaluate the success of my treatment to update or modify the plan. In my current role, I am using many of these same skills, but now my \"patients\" are the various business programs, goals and metrics we\'re targeting.I participate in planning and strategy meetings for upcoming pilots and workflow enhancements to align clinical workflows to business goals. Much of this also involves collaborating with product and engineering teams to ensure necessary product enhancements result in meaningful updates to clinical workflows that maximize efficiency to achieve key business goals. Additionally, I develop and lead much of the education that is delivered to our clinical teams prior to product enhancements and workflow updates, incorporating adult learning and change management principles into the education design.
