Home-based- Setting up files and computer records for new estates when notification of death is received from Solicitors, Banks and Smee & Ford and Executors- Recording and receipting daily income / banking- Managing own diary- Dealing with daily post- Monitoring the tracker within PDSA\'s case management system and request interim payments where appropriate- Chasing up outstanding matters at appropriate intervals to prevent undue delays in administration- Producing reports and statistics for management- Liaising with other charities regarding shared estates- Answering telephone enquiries- Monitoring life interests in pecuniary legacy cases in which PDSA has an interest in remainder- Reclaiming income tax on interest receipts- To ensure solicitor cost information is maintained for reference purposes, daily diary reports are processed, computer records are fully completed before an administration file is authorised for closure- Book of Remembrance requests are responded to an liaison with the Legacy marketing team - To assist other members of staff within the Legacy Department undertaking general office duties including typing of correspondence
