I am a passionate, community-focused educator dedicated to ensuring every student has access to high-quality, rigorous instruction that meets their individual needs. I believe in supporting the holistic development of all learners—academically, socially, and emotionally—while fostering an inclusive environment where students of all abilities can succeed.I began my career as the founding special education teacher at a charter high school in Nashville, TN. I have served in various leadership roles, including Special Education Content Specialist, Dean of Students and Support Services, Interim School Principal, and Director of Exceptional Education for a charter network in Nashville. Under my leadership, the school earned the prestigious \"School of Excellence\" award from the State of Tennessee Division of Rehabilitation Services in recognition of its outstanding inclusive practices and commitment to supporting students with disabilities—making it the first public charter school to achieve this honor.I am driven by a commitment to designing and implementing programs that empower students with disabilities, set high standards for achievement, and ensure exceptional service delivery for all learners.
