I have recently begun my career in Finance within the Safety, Infrastructure, and Geospatial industry. I graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2022 with a BBA in Finance and I am now pursuing an MBA from the University of Alabama in Huntsville as well. I am currently a Financial Analyst – Revenue Recognition Specialist at Hexagon Safety, Infrastructure, and Geospatial. I also lead the Internship and Onboarding Committee for the SIG Finance team and serve on several other committees related to employee engagement, community involvement, and discovering and actioning what’s next for the SIG Finance team. Additionally, I currently serve on the board of GEOHuntsville as the treasurer.

Perform financial risk assessment on proposals and contracts, aligning with International Financial Reporting Standards and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles software revenue recognition guidelines. Conduct in-depth analysis of project delivery and product lines, implementing changes in revenue recognition practices where appropriate to enhance accuracy and effectiveness. Assess and convey the impact of these changes on project accounting, forecasting, bids and proposals, and project management. • Review and approve more than 40 contracts each week, scrutinizing pricing, payment terms, milestones, and project assumptions to ensure accuracy with the intention of our business. Additionally, I offer valuable guidance on financial risk mitigation strategies and leverage pricing analyses to optimize negotiations with our customers.• Lead the annual summer internship program, creating a platform for interns entering the workforce to gain valuable experience through peer coaching, engaging business workshops, and meaningful networking opportunities.
