About Rachel Broughton
As a driven and resilient sophomore at UNC Chapel Hill I am pursuing a BS in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Entrepreneurship. As a pre-dental student, I aspire to earn a DDS and use it to improve access to quality dental care in underserved countries, alongside disparities in North Carolina.I have leadership experience as Vice President of Event Management for my sorority and as an executive board member of UNC Club Lacrosse. Alongside 50+ hours of dental shadowing, my hands-on experience includes dental assisting on CMDA’s Jamaica Dental Mission Trip and volunteering with the UNC Dental Faculty Practice.I offer skills in project management, event planning, marketing, and proficiency with tools like Excel, Word, and Canva. I am passionate about combining technical expertise with service to create meaningful impact in dentistry and beyond.Outside of work and academics, I enjoy running, skiing, lacrosse, and cheering on Carolina sports.
