ABOUT RACHCHA ARUN
I have completed my Integrated MSc in Environmental Science from the Central University of Rajasthan, where I gained a strong foundation in environmental monitoring, waste management, and soil and water analysis. During my academic journey, I worked on major and minor dissertation projects focused on the utilization of STP sludge in agriculture and sustainable alternatives to plastic. These projects gave me hands-on experience in experimental design, lab analysis, and data interpretation. I have also participated in workshops and exhibitions related to sustainability and water treatment systems. Along with technical skills like field sampling and Microsoft Excel, I possess good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. I am currently working as a Project Assistant at CSIR–NEERI, supporting environmental monitoring and research with a focus on air quality assessment. My work involves operating PM₂.₅ and PM₁₀ samplers, conducting ambient air sampling, performing instrument calibration, and carrying out noise monitoring and particulate matter analysis. I’m passionate about environmental research and eager to contribute to sustainable solutions in the field.
