About Rachana Rao
Graduated from the MILR program at Cornell University with a concentration in Human Resources and Organizations. I earned a Bachelor of Engineering specialized in Biotechnology from PESIT. I started my career as a Programmer Analyst, where I learnt key software concepts and their implementation. With the software industry experience, I transitioned into the Training and Development space, as a Senior Consultant Facilitator, for the hire-train-deploy model. I was responsible for the recruitment and training on business communication for two major client accounts. As skill development partners for the IT/ITes industry, my team and I led two CSR projects for National Skill Development Corporation, India. On a personal front, I love food. Tasting and experimenting cuisines along with recipe innovation is more than just a hobby. I have 2 research projects in the Food Sciences domain and am certified as a Lead Auditor in (Food Safety Management Systems) in 2013 earning my certificate from DNV.
