Rachael brings a wealth of experience and passion to the Colorado Academy girls lacrosse program. A former Division I athlete, Rachael served as captain of the University of Florida lacrosse team after transferring from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. As an All-American, three-time Cherry Creek state champion, and two-time All-State lacrosse player, Rachael knows what it takes to compete at the highest levels of the sport.Beyond the accolades, Rachael is deeply passionate about mentoring young athletes, helping them grow both on and off the field. Her own experiences in competitive lacrosse taught her invaluable lessons about leadership, resilience, teamwork, and perseverance—qualities she strives to instill in her players every day.Rachael believes that sports provide young women with lifelong skills and confidence, and she is dedicated to fostering a positive and empowering environment where her athletes can thrive. When she’s not coaching, Rachael is pursuing a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, further fueling her commitment to supporting and guiding young people through life’s challenges.Rachael is thrilled to lead the girls lacrosse team and looks forward to building a legacy of excellence, hard work, and camaraderie.
