I am an Associate Professor in the School of Creative and Cultural Business at Robert Gordon University. My research interests explore the intersection between place, storytelling and experience, with a particular focus on dark and supernatural tourism. I have experience leading funded bids with interdisciplinary teams including projects funded by the British Academy, Royal Society of Edinburgh and Museums Galleries Scotland. I also have experience collaborating as a Co-Investigator on national and international research project. In addition, I am the Interdisciplinary Theme Champion for Inclusive and Creative Societies working across the University to facilitate networking, collaboration and events for interdisciplinary research teams.
