Rachael has over fifteen years’ experience within the fashion and textiles industry, successfully setting up and running a project management clothing business, Bridge & Stitch, specialising in UK production for over 13 years, working with SME’s and medium sized businesses to build ethical and sustainable clothing brands. She has extensive business knowledge within the creative sector and has a passion for strategy and performance management, now working as a consultant, implementing sustainable strategy into fashion businesses. Rachael has recently completed a PGCLTHE, a MBA and achieved qualifications in Carbon Literacy and Sustainable and Responsible Leadership. She works as a lecturer at Nottingham Trent University working on BA Fashion Marketing and Branding as the module lead for final year.Rachael has experience of working with both national and international clients and negotiating and buying with suppliers across the globe. She is experienced in performance management, project management and business development with the implementation of clear systems and processes.In a volatile industry, such as the creative sector, Rachael recognised the importance of a clear strategy with action-led leadership to ensure businesses remain innovative, forward-thinking and sustainable.
