Professional Development is key to #RaisingTheBarInHealthCare. I founded the Music Therapy Academy, providing professional development workshops, consulting, supervision, research, webinars and music therapy. Having extensive experience working in private practise with a diversity of age groups and diagnoses such as Alzheimer\'s, Parkinson\'s Disease, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Acquired Brain Injury, Mental Health and Addictions and Developmental Differences - I am able to provide consultation regarding treatment plans, programs and informing research. The MTAcademy is the only academy in Canada providing music therapy informed professional development. Check out our workshops & subscribe In recognizing the demand from university students for information about music therapy, I created two music therapy courses which are offered at McMaster University: Introduction to Music Therapy & Introduction to Music Therapy Research. I currently teach the Intro to Music Therapy course and I hold a PhD in Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour, Research focus: Music Therapy for proactive wellness.
