Assigned to the Complex Claims Team to mentor, educate, and assist claims personnel at managing complex claims.* Partnering with structure brokers, excess carriers, clients, Program Management, Quality Management to facilitate resolutions at all levels and stages of the claims process.• Designated Subject Matter Expert for SB 863. Employed in a Work Group to put together work flows for the company as it pertains to the MPN. • Mentoring of team members on client policies and excess coverage/communication. • Brokering deals between excess carriers and clients in an effort to move high dollar claims towards resolution and facilitate recovery of excess dollars for Albertsons. • Analyzing and evaluating high dollar incurred claims then bringing attorneys, structure brokers, excess carriers, and clients to the table to facilitate resolution of the Aged Pending claims.* Partnering with the claims examiner to provide guidance and education on medical, and litigation management. Assisting in management of complex claims and CAT loss. Assisting examiners in development of plans of action to ensure the timely and accurate provision of benefits.* Working directly on Aged Pending, high exposure, litigated Amazon claims to bring to a cost effective resolution.
