About Rachael Lowe
Formerly managed and lead the Williams Early Career Rotational Program, a program designed to prepare high potential individual contributors to make significant contributions to the business. The Program is a 3-year rotational program that is guided by the following principles: Develop breadth of technical and non-technical expertise. Offer robust career development through challenging work assignments in diverse rotation opportunities. Promote an innovative and inclusive culture by giving young professionals a voice. Demand high performance and achievement through collaboration and enterprise contribution. As a degreed accountant I am experienced in both financial reporting and operational oil and gas accounting in addition to all other accounting functions. Experiencing multiple roles within Williams through the F&A group and NGL Commercial group I bring a great source of business knowledge to my current role and utilize that knowledge to help propel young professionals in their development in order to achieve their career aspirations. With over a decade of experience in the energy industry, Rachael has cultivated a diverse skill set through her experiences in both domestic and international contexts. Prior to joining Williams, Rachael worked for an international crude oil company specializing in crude oil marketing, purchasing, transportation, pipeline construction, and mergers and acquisitions. In her position she was responsible for controlling four different subsidiaries of the company which gained her experience with IFRS accounting procedures and foreign currency. Additionally, she worked for a corporation active in the exploration and drilling of crude oil. In her role she worked on several routine acquisitions in different play areas, prepared SEC financial filings including the company’s IPO, and contributed to daily operational accounting functions. Building on this foundation, Rachael expanded her horizons by contributing to an engineering company involved in the construction of US military fuel facilities internationally. In this role, she not only provided financial oversight but also actively engaged in ensuring the successful completion of construction projects within budget through percent to completion accounting. In this capacity she gained valuable insights into project management within highly regulated and specialized environments, further enhancing her ability to navigate complex operational landscapes.
