Lead and direct all functions of the Human Resources department including talent acquisition, benefits, employee relations, administering company policies and practices, reporting, audits, and audit functions as related to HR, and maintaining compliance with all Federal, State and company guidelines for employment activities. Organizational Development Assist payroll department and review timekeeping Act as a primary contact with third party benefit administrators to manage, monitor and audit company benefit plans; health insurance, STD, LTD, life, supplemental life, flexible spending accounts, dental and vision plan, etc. Oversee retirement and 401k distribution activities. Document and track leaves of absence for all personnel to ensure compliance with company and federal guidelines. Coordinate and administer Family Medical Leave Act recordkeeping requirements and ensure that Directors and Supervisors follow policy and Federal laws. Act as a facility expert to train Supervisors and inform employees of their rights and responsibilities. Ensure and actively participate in effective organizational communication by advising leadership of employee relation issues or concerns and informing employees of employment-related legal rights and responsibilities. Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees
