ABOUT RACHAEL KEISH
With over 20 years of experience in civil and environmental engineering, I am the CEO and founder of Keish Environmental, a small, woman-owned business that provides program and construction management, stormwater and environmental compliance services in the Bay Area. I hold a Civil P.E. license and certifications as a Qualified Developer/Practitioner and a Qualified Industrial Practitioner from the California Stormwater Quality Association.My passion is to make infrastructure projects environmentally friendly and sustainable, and to translate the promises made during the planning process into the boots on the ground construction phase. I lead a multi-disciplinary team that shares the values of integrity, sustainability, technical excellence, lifetime learning, and collaboration. I also enjoy delivering practical and down-to-earth compliance training and presentations to clients and employees. Outside of work, I serve as the Women\'s Leadership Program Chair for WTS, the ASCE national Sustainability Liaison chair, and am active in the CASQA\'s Phase II Non-Traditional subcommittee, where I recommend permit compliance approaches to fellow permittees.
