About Rachael Gross

I am a second-year student at The George Washington University pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. On campus, I serve as the Finance Director for both GW Dance Marathon (GWDM) and Kappa Delta Sorority, where I manage budgets, oversee financial planning, and support philanthropic efforts. My passion for fundraising began in high school, and now through GWDM, I have the opportunity to help raise money for Children’s National Hospital. I thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments and enjoy applying creativity and strategic thinking to financial management and problem-solving.Being at GW has allowed me to deepen my understanding of accounting, finance, and the broader business world. I’m continually learning through my coursework, involvement in student organizations, and meaningful interactions with peers and mentors. These experiences are helping me grow both personally and professionally, and I’m excited to keep exploring how to combine my analytical skills with a passion for creating impact, whether through nonprofit work or future opportunities in business.

   Organizing and leading teamwork and bonding exercises to foster a safe environment, resulting in greater camper comfort and trust within the group- Facilitating activities and providing support by leading groups of 15+ to achieve valuable and memorable experiences during the summer- Guiding and supervising campers in outdoor activities, such as sports and team bonding, ensuring their safety while enhancing their enjoyment and skill development.
