ABOUT RABI ALHASSAN

For a long time, all I’ve wanted is to own a restaurant due to my passion for cooking. This all started when I was around the age of 11. Because my sisters and I couldn’t enroll in school given we just arrived in the United States, I spent majority of my time at the library playing cooking games on a computer. It fascinated me immensely how quick I was up to speed with navigating my way around the game using the computer given my brief exposure to it before my relocation to the United States. And although I never paid adequate attention to my affinity for technology during that moment, things took a 180 degree phase shift later in my life while pursing a career as a house keeping supervisor at Marriott. Following exposure to all the workflow software applications utilized for room management, I started connecting with technology on a different level. Suddenly my brain started conceiving a myriad of different ideas on how to optimize the functionality of these applications. This motivated me to pursue a career in application development in order to implement my creativity in a team settings while expanding on my technical knowledge.
