My research interests focus on biochemistry and molecular biology of a rare non-enzymatic glycation reaction, which has severe pathophysiological significance in diabetes, atherosclerosis, cancer and neurological disorders. Currently, I am involved in screening anti-glycating compounds and uncovering their protective role against the AGEs-related pathologies via targeting AGEs-RAGE associated signalling
