Every monsoon, we see how easily our cities come to a halt. Years of rapid urban growth have made waterlogging and urban floods feel inevitable. But they are not.At AIResQ, I am part of a team working to change this. We take rigorous research on flood risk, mitigation and resilience, carried out at IIT Gandhinagar and turn it into solutions that cities can actually implement.It is not just about predicting floods. It is about giving city authorities the tools to plan better, respond faster and build systems that stand strong for years to come.This work is driven by a simple mission to help create cities that can thrive despite the challenges of a changing climate. Setting up and streamlining internal processes to enable smooth day‑to‑day operations.2. Working closely with product and technical teams to refine requirements and manage feedback.3. Supporting business development through research, proposals, partnerships, and external engagement.4.
