About Raahil Gunaratne

As a Finance and Corporate Innovation student at Northeastern University, I am passionate about learning how to create value and drive growth through financial analysis, strategy, and innovation. I have completed course work in financial management, corporate finance, entrepreneurial innovation, and financial accounting. I have been fortunate to apply my skills and knowledge as a Structured Investments Analyst at CAIS helping to bring tailored structured investment products to the largely untapped market of RIA’s seeking to increase their alternative asset allocations. I\'ve also completed a co-op through Northeastern University as an Investment Compliance Analyst at Liberty Mutual Investments, where I learned about the regulatory landscape of the financial services industry. Outside of work, I write as a Technology Sector Analyst for Bull and Bear Research, a student led equity research club at Northeastern publishing in depth reports covering various sectors. Additionally, I\'ve served as the Recruitment (Rush) Chair for the Xi-Beta chapter of Kappa Sigma allowing me to hone my leadership and organizational abilities. Through these experiences, I have developed strong communicative, quantitative, and collaborative skills, demonstrating my ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. My overall goal is to pursue a career in finance, allowing me to continuously learn and contribute to the growth and innovation of the industry.
