At Sainsbury\'s, I have to take on the responsibility of choosing the best products or the best substitute available for customers, make sure items are all of a good best before date whilst also maintaining our store\'s target score in order to make sure orders are picked and sent out on time. Whilst also handling my own job role, I have to be prepared for any questions shop floor customers may want to ask me and be able to help them to the best of my availability. This job has enabled me to work in a busy, fast paced working environment, understand the importance of organisation and timing whilst also stimulating my brain and its judgement to make the best decisions possible when needed. Additionally, I have been privileged to be given the role of Availability Captain which requires me to work as a team with the staff on nightshift in order to ensure that the shop floor is stocked up with products that may be required by the online department for their customers. Within this role, I also have to manage figures and understand how much stock came into our warehouse, how much we have sold over the past week and how much stock we have left in order to accurately clear out inventory so that new stock can be ordered to the store.
