ABOUT RAAFAT SINAN
I am a passionate structural engineer with a total of more than eight (8) years of experience focused in bridge analysis, design, and inspections, and with a master’s degree in structural engineering from University of Western Ontario earned in 2021. I have very good experience in the detailed design of reinforced concrete and steel structures. Also, I work on 2D and 3D Finite Element Models of slab-on-girders bridges rigid frame bridges/culverts, and steel trusses. I am familiar with multiple software\'s including but not limited to CSiBridge, ETABS, I posses a sound knowledge of the Canadian and Ontarian Provincial Standards (CHBDC/S6, OSIM, CSA/A23.3, CSA/S16, MTO Structural Manual, & NBCC) and familiar with American codes (ACI 318; ASCE 7; AISC 14; AASHTO).
