I contribute to the Horizon Europe PANDORA project, which develops a trustworthy, efficient and autonomous AIoT framework for industrial environments. Working with a large consortium of academic and industrial partners across Europe, I focus on bringing advanced machine learning into real-world industrial IoT systems.Key contributions:Developing federated learning solutions to enable privacy-preserving collaboration across distributed industrial sites.Researching memory-augmented neural networks and adaptive AI for dynamic, data-sparse processes.Advancing explainable AI (XAI) and data explainability techniques to improve trust, transparency, and adoption.Designing end-to-end AI pipelines: data collection, curation, preprocessing, and deployment across edge, fog, and cloud environments.Ensuring robustness, fairness, and compliance (GDPR, ethical AI) in industrial AI deployments.Collaboration & Impact:I work closely with industrial stakeholders from manufacturing, automation, and IoT sectors, validating AI prototypes under real constraints such as latency, energy efficiency, and reliability. By combining cutting-edge research with industrial validation, I help bridge the gap between academic advances and practical deployment, driving safer, explainable, and scalable AI solutions for the next generation of industrial IoT.
