About Russell Thomas
With over 20 years of experience from design to software and UI engineer, I have developed a strong skill set in front-end web development, using various languages, frameworks, and tools to create user-friendly and accessible interfaces. My most recent role was at DoorDash, where I performed design audits on internal tools, consumed APIs for dashboards and built UX libraries to increase developer productivity across all engineering teams.I am passionate about learning new technologies and best practices, and sharing my knowledge with others. I have led monthly trainings on existing and upcoming technologies at iFIT, where I also maintained and refactored front-end code for e-commerce websites localized for four countries. I have also written clear and concise documentation for users looking to adapt Microsoft Web Framework into their projects, where I also built new components and variants for MWF Moray. My goal is to never stop growing as a web developer and as a human being. Each day is a new opportunity to grow.
