I am a PhD-trained physician and engineer with a decade of clinical research and medical device developement experience from Yale Medical School, the National Institute of Health, Philips, and currently at Intuitive, a company specializing in surgical robotics. I\'m all about impactful robots that can improve patient outcomes. As an engineering physician and scientist, I explore, scout de-risk emerging breakthrough opportunities that can address unmet clinical needs with help of robotics. To find the right opportunities, I ask three crucial questions: 1. Is there a strong desire among physicians to enhance their skills and reach deeper or with more accuracy into the body to treat patients and improve outcomes?2. What are the engineering risks and challenges we must overcome to address these needs?3. What is the viability of our innovations from both a business perspective and in collaboration with our partners?I approach all innovations with curiosity, data-driven insights, and a strategic mindset. Currently enhancing my own leadership skills though the year long corporate innovation and leadership program LEAD at Stanford Business School, with courses on finance, strategic leadership and critical analytical thinking. As a medical device inventor, I strive for inclusive leadership, bringing together diverse perspectives and engineering talents to maximize impact.
