As a team leader and project manager at MSA Professional Services, I oversee an experienced team of transportation designers and technicians on roadway and bridge design projects. This includes highway and street design, preliminary and final structure and approach design, agency review coordination, meetings, public involvement, environmental documentation, reports, management of subconsultants, right-of-way, and final design, plans, and specifications. My experience has been mainly with projects administered through the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and Wisconsin\'s counties, cities, villages, and townships.The favorite part of my job is personally working with clients to assist them in realizing their goal for an improved road or bridge. It’s very satisfying to see the transformation of deteriorated or functionally obsolete infrastructure to an improved completed project that benefits the public.
