I\'ve always had a desire to sacrifice today to improve tomorrow.When I learned about Real Estate ownership and the freedom it can offer, I started working towards buying a home. Step one was to make some money, which I did during two difficult summers as a Door-to-door Salesman. The second step was to learn everything I could about what makes a good investment property. Location, zoning, floorplans, etc. were all new concepts I researched to understand. On February 9th, 2019, my wife and I bought our first home with a basement apartment. We cried tears of joy! We renovated, rented the top two floors, and lived in the basement apartment. With our dream achieved and working better than expected, we set out to rinse and repeat.Today we rent out 5 units and live in another house we own While effort is important, I would be lying if I said hard work was THE REASON we have some financial success thus far. Education, family financial situations, and opportunities to make business relationships are legitimate barriers for most. My vocational purpose is to become a master teacher of real estate, and help its power be used for good. “Used for good” to me means myself and the people I partner with are honest and equitable.Specific areas I have experience in are the following: Entrepreneurship Home buying and selling Home Construction Landlording Door-to-door SalesI believe I need to learn to give to others because it helps people, not because they can give me something in return. That is what my parents did, it is what I am trying to do as a husband and father, and it is what I feel my God doing for me everyday.
