I\'m a civil engineering student with a background in surveying, CAD drafting, and field data collection. I’ve worked with GPS equipment, robotic total stations, and CAD software to support topographic mapping, site development, and survey control.Right now, I’m earning my B.S. in Civil Engineering at Liberty University, using the GI Bill to further my education. My focus is on surveying, CAD automation, and geospatial analysis, and I’m always looking to improve my technical skills.Before starting school, I served in the U.S. Army as a Technical Engineer (12T), where I worked on survey projects covering thousands of acres. I assisted with site planning, data processing, and construction layout, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the field.What I’m Looking ForI’m focused on growing my skills in surveying, CAD, and geospatial technology.    At EA Partners, my role centers on supporting land development projects through field surveying, construction layout, and field-to-office coordination. Most of my time is spent collecting, verifying, and organizing survey data that will be used directly for CAD drafting, surface modeling, and design decisions. I regularly perform boundary and topographic surveys, establish and verify control using GNSS and robotic total stations, and run closed traverses and level loops to meet accuracy standards.I am also involved in construction staking for utilities, curbs, and finish floor elevations, working closely with contractors and inspectors to ensure layout aligns with design intent and field conditions. As projects progress, I assist with as-built documentation and verification, helping confirm that installed work matches plans and recorded elevations.A key part of my responsibility is making sure field data is clean and usable once it reaches the office. This includes reviewing point data and linework, identifying inconsistencies or missing information, and communicating with engineers and CAD staff to resolve issues before they turn into rework.
