WORK HISTORY
Asp Postdoctoral Fellow @Nsf Ncar - The National Center For Atmospheric Research
Boulder, CO, US
My postdoctoral research focuses on the interactions between tropical weather features over Africa. I am especially interested in how tropical waves, including equatorial waves and easterly waves, interact with smaller- and larger- scale phenomena near coastlines. To study these complex interactions, I am running high-resolution numerical experiments using NCAR\'s state-of-the-art MPAS-A modeling system. Ultimately, my goal is to use this research to help improve the prediction of high-impact weather events in the tropics and provide actionable information to communities around the globe.
