About Quinnetta Miller

As a life-longer learner and believer in growth and transformation, I help individuals and teams reach their personal and professional goals through a coach approach that is coachee-driven, solutions-focused and equity-centered. I create brave spaces for leaders to learn, grow, strategize and act. This evident in my current role as Director of Coaching and Collaborative Improvement for StriveTogether—a national, nonprofit network of more than 68 communities using a rigorous approach to improve educational outcomes. In this role, I supports the design and implementation to the targeted coaching strategy; develops stories, tools and resources; and provides direct executive coaching to c-suite leaders to support their leadership development and accelerate partnership progress across the Cradle to Career Network. I come to this work with a wealth of experience and multiple certifications, including professional diversity coach training, certified Result Count Practitioner as well as certified to administer the MBTI. That passion for creating spaces for learning and action takes root in my experience as an educator. Previously, I worked in education as a literacy instructor, coach and team leader in the Chicago Public School and charter system for eight years. I have a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Secondary Education from Knox College and a Master’s in Instructional Leadership from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I currently serve on North Shore Country Day School’s Board of Trustees. I live on Chicago\'s South Side with my husband, Joshua, and daughter, Liyana.
