As Co-Captain and Director of Operations, I help keep the Queen’s Racing EV team organized and moving efficiently across all 11 sub-teams. I coordinate day-to-day operations, manage timelines, and support logistics so that design, manufacturing, and testing all stay on track. A big part of my role is making sure communication flows between mechanical, electrical, and business teams so all 250+ members are aligned and working toward the same goals.I’m proud to be part of the team that built the first-ever electric Formula SAE car in Queen’s University history. That milestone has set a strong foundation, and now my focus is on building on it. Helping tune, refine, and optimize the car’s performance through testing and iteration. The goal is to take what we’ve built and push it further, improving reliability, efficiency, and overall competitiveness as we chase strong results in Formula SAE.

ABOUT QUINN OLIPHANT
Pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering at Queen\'s University, expected to graduate in April 2028. Currently serving as the Co-Captain and Director of Operations for Queen\'s Racing Formula SAE Team, where the focus is on finances, logistics, and marketing to support the design and development of the Q27 racecar alongside the engineering team. Previously served as Lead Composites Engineer for Queen\'s Racing, leading the design, manufacturing, and testing of carbon fiber components for the vehicle. Strong foundation in composite design, manufacturing, and long term project planning, with demonstrated experience in collaborating across multidisciplinary teams and mentoring junior team members. Dedicated to fostering teamwork and supporting skill development with future engineers.
