In my position as Project Manager I provide technical expertise to clients related to remediation and reclamation activities and stay in constant contact with stakeholders to ensure projects meet client expectations. I also conduct business development related to these activities to grow Aurora\'s business. In particular, I manage remediation projects, including staffing, client deliverables, invoicing and accounts receivables; and provide advice and recommendations or project specific assessments and regulatory requirements for Alberta and Saskatchewan. Managing remediation projects also includes developing scopes of work proposals, overseeing multi-disciplinary teams and sub-consultants. I also provide mentorship and training to junior staff on these multi-disciplinary teams. Once projects are complete I prepare regulatory documents on behalf of clients, and complete senior review and sign-off on technical regulatory reports completed by junior staff.

ABOUT QUINN BOTTORFF
As a Professional Agrologist Mr. Quinn Bottorff has over 17 years of combined experience in completing and managing environmental assessments and regulatory approval applications for new and expanding industrial projects, managing and completing remediation and reclamation projects, and managing construction projects. Mr. Bottorff worked over the years with various environmental/ engineering consulting firms as Project Manager, Team Lead, Ecologist and Environmental Scientist. He has also worked with Alberta Environment as a Reclamation Approvals Coordinator and a Policy Specialist, and with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency as a Program Officer. More recently, Mr. Quinn Bottorff has taken his project management skills and is utilizing them in the property management portion of the real estate industry forming his own property management / project management company. In particular he can oversee maintenance / construction projects for clients in the condominium, housing co-operative and social housing areas. He co-ordinates minor tenant / maintenance requests to managing large scale renovation and construction projects. This includes developing scopes of work with clients, overseeing the Request for Bid / Qualification processes and then supervising actual construction / renovation work to maintain quality standards. He can also implement and manage online maintenance / project management software, including complete staff and client training. He also assists clients by integrating annual inspection reports, building condition assessment (BCA) results and asset management plans (AMPs) into their annual budgets. Quinn also works with outside agencies to get BCAs and AMPs completed for clients and then managing any resulting construction / renovation work. Most recently Mr. Quinn Bottorff is working as a technical rescuer where he was responsible for the following:* High angle rescue and confined space entry/monitoring/rescue;* Inspecting and rigging in equipment;* Using gas detection equipment including pumps and monitors;* Ensuring proper calibration and bumping of gas detection equipment;* Atmospheric monitoring; and * Use of respiratory protective equipment and supplied breathing air; • Using extensive knowledge of the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, other safety legislation and guidelines, and its continual application for a safe work environment.
