ABOUT QUINCY S.
Government, politics, and economics nerd here. I\'m currently a junior at Mounds View High School, where I\'m an active member of Youth In Government and our Economics Club. Outside of school, however, I\'m passionate about advocating for democratic reform, more specifically ranked-choice voting, as noted by my time working with FairVote MN. I\'ve also just started getting involved with Democratic politics by volunteering at DFL district conventions. Additionally, coming from an immigrant Chinese household and growing up Chinese-American, I spend a great deal of time around Chinese New Year and the Mid-Autumn Festival volunteering with Chinese-American organizations in Minnesota promoting cultural education and appreciation. I\'m on the dragon dance team for the Chinese American Association of Minnesota and an organizer for the Alliance of Minnesota Chinese Organizations.I\'m greatly interested in using my experience in democratic advocacy, civic engagement, and community service to help move us to a more diverse and free society.
