I am a first-year PhD Student in Social Work at Rutgers School of Social Work. My areas of interest are intimate partner + gender-based violence prevention and men + masculinities. I currently work as a Graduate Assistant with the Rutgers Center for Research on Ending Violence.My research experience ranges from qualitative research on men\'s role in the movement for gender equity in Cameroon and quantitative research using linear modeling to identify key factors influencing rates of sexual violence. I also have extensive experience developing curriculum and facilitating discussions with men on topics such as gender socialization, male privilege, and empathy.I am a social worker, a community builder, and a patriarchy dismantler.
