ABOUT QUENTIN PARHAM

I’m an aspiring cybersecurity professional who is currently working as an IT Support Technician for Sierra Nevada Corporation. I am also currently seeking an undergraduate degree in Cybersecurity from the City University of Seattle. I currently have hands-on training in protocol analysis, security automation, ethical hacking, network hardening, Python scripting, and TCP/IP fundamentals. My technical foundation allows me to understand how systems communicate, identify vulnerabilities, and design secure workflows that balance efficiency with resilience.Beyond technical skills, I’m deeply interested in the intersection of cybersecurity and compliance. I believe strong governance and risk management are essential to building trust and protecting organizations in today’s digital landscape. My goal is to leverage my technical expertise to transition into a GRC Analyst role, where I can help organizations align security practices with regulatory standards, mitigate risks, and strengthen overall resilience.I thrive on continuous learning, whether it’s packet-level analysis with Wireshark, automating tasks with Python, or exploring frameworks like NIST and ISO. With a methodical approach and a passion for clarity, I’m eager to contribute to teams that value both technical depth and compliance-driven strategy.
