   Serve as Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) for the U.S. Air Force C-130J Aircraft Platform Information Technology (PIT) system supporting special purpose missions for warfighter and partner nation forces. Primary responsibilities include the management of testing and reporting requirements for Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) compliance including supporting Annual Security Tests, Annual Security Reviews and Annual Contingency Testing. Additional duties include reviewing IA Test Report results, reviewing and development of authorization to operate (ATO) documentation, managing coordination for procedures to protect or correct identified vulnerabilities, ensure all IA related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals, the implementation and enforcement of all DoD information system IA policies and procedures, and ensuring that compliance monitoring is on-going by developing and implementing continuous monitoring strategies. As Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) for International Program Office (IPO), additional duties include direct communication with Program Manager providing remediation and mitigation strategies that are designed to reduce residual risks to an acceptable level. Also provided recommendations to engineers on security compliance issues impacting hardware and software system upgrades, testing, vulnerability management, incident management, configuration management, budget review, and contract proposal review.
