ABOUT ADESUYI

Queen Adesuyi (they/she) is a policy strategist, advocate, and cross-movement organizer with a decade of experience successfully advancing local, state, and federal campaigns and policy reform. Their experience cuts across criminal legal reform, drug policy, harm reduction, police accountability, body autonomy, democracy, and racial justice. Queen is a partner at Reframe Health and Justice (RHJ), a consulting collective that supports organizations and movements in deepening their practices of care, compassion, and collaboration through services including organizational strategy and planning, capacity building and training, policy advocacy, and community care. At RHJ, Queen specializes in policy and legislative advocacy, campaign strategy, coalition building and management, principled lobbying, policy research, project management, and supporting organizers in leveraging people power to drive systemic change. Queen is also a proud Board Co-Chair for Mirror Memoirs, a national storytelling and organizing collective of queer and trans survivors of color working to end child sexual violence and rape culture without the use of the carceral system. Queen holds a B.A. in American Studies with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies from Georgetown University.
