ABOUT STEVENSON

I am a senior NHS professional with a strong track record of delivering high-quality coordination, engagement, and learning and development across NHS England, with a clear focus on people, culture, and impact. In my current role as Senior Coordinator for the Cancer Drugs Fund (London Region), I support complex, high-profile programmes, combining operational rigour with a deep understanding of how workforce capability, inclusion, and system improvement drive better outcomes.Alongside my substantive role, I serve as Co-Chair of the NHS England BAME Network, where I provide visible and credible leadership on equity, diversity, and inclusion. I work in partnership with senior leaders and colleagues across the organisation to ensure BAME staff voices inform decision-making, shape policy, and influence organisational culture. My work includes leading engagement events and awareness campaigns, supporting mentoring and development opportunities, and creating psychologically safe spaces that enable staff to thrive, progress, and feel valued.I am recognised as an organised, collaborative, and values-driven leader who brings people together to deliver meaningful change. I am particularly motivated by roles that sit at the intersection of EDI, workforce development, and organisational improvement, where inclusive leadership and effective engagement directly contribute to a stronger workforce and better outcomes for patients and communities.
