   Responsible for running Gran Bar/Lavazza/5th Avenue and Nutella in order to meet Eataly’s targets, mission and policies. The aim of the Assistant General Manager is to maximize profit while minimizing costs. Responsible for ordering or requisitioning supplies and merchandise for their department(s). Ensures promotions are accurate and that merchandise is up to Eataly’s standards. Manages staff and ensures they are fully versed on the department and Eataly goals and that excellent customer care standards are consistently met. The Assistant General Manager also documents, investigates and resolves all employee and guest incidents including guest complaints and directs escalated issues to the appropriate outlet. As an ambassador of Eataly products and services, the Assistant General Manager is responsible for helping to create and maintain quality experiences for each guest that comes to Eataly. Eataly ambassadors are expected to actively engage with guests and spend quality time with each customer.
