About Quang Vu

Being in the presence of others brings me immense joy! Throughout my twelve years career in the beauty industry as a hairdresser, I have nurtured exceptional customer service skills and demonstrated unwavering dedication to my clients.Upon graduating from Year Up Puget Sound, I acquired invaluable leadership and project management skills. My time at Year Up ignited a profound passion for building computers and networks. Engaging in classes and activities alongside my instructors, staff, and peers proved to be a deeply fulfilling experience. I became proficient in SQL, computer and networking hardware, virtual networking, and help desk ticketing. At Expedia, my current role lies within the IT department, specifically in Asset Management. Here, I am responsible for overseeing the management of hardware assets in Expedia\'s configuration management database (Service-Now), maintaining optimal global stock levels, and providing internal support to customers for hardware-related concerns.Outside of work hours, I am actively involved in Expedia\'s global inclusion diversity groups such as Asian Community, LGBTQIA+ and allies, Black Expedia Allied Movement and many more. Through this engagement, I am able to apply and enhance my leadership skills. I am committed to supporting the growth of awareness surrounding many cultures or backgrounds, empowering professional development, and promoting equality. Additionally, I strive to make a lasting impact by fostering collective learning across the company and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion intersectionality to unite all Inclusion Business Groups (IBGs) as a cohesive whole.Ultimately, my goal is to pursue a career where I can contribute to problem-solving efforts for businesses and individuals while actively fostering diversity in the workplace.
