About Qingyang Li
Hi, I’m a data scientist and a student at New York University Master of Science in Data Science. By getting my hands extremely dirty before the age of 22, I have a keen alertness to data and my expertise in stochastic calculus and linear algebra has allowed me to engineer my own metrics (i.e. through decay rate, LDA for dimensionality reduction on high collinearity data, divergence in time-series data) for further machine learning prediction. I have a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to complete a successful machine learning project, and my experience with AWS Cloud (such as SageMaker, EC2, Snowflake, RedShfit) has solidified my expertise in the domain of data, cloud computing, and machine learning. Recently I started a full time position for start up Moonshot factory as a data scientist. On top of that, I am the founder of House of Real Sports, which is a WeChat official business account that cover news on NBA, NFL, and UFC in China. I love learning as I would dedicate at least 40 hours a week to read books on options and math, taking courses on Udemy, and getting my hands dirty by completing projects. Upon graduation, I plan to become a quantitative trader with my knowledge in data science and machine learning.
